Hamid Elsevar

Promoting health and wellness worldwide since 2008.

Hamid is Founder and Director of Hosh Yoga and Dou Yoga  studios in New York that employ dozens of teachers from many other respected school as well as in house trained. He has more than 1200 hours of teaching regular classes, Yoga Alliance Registered School teacher training and private instruction.

On the path of wellness his major milestones are:

-Creating and directing 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training program with participation of guest senior teachers starting in January 2013.

-Successfully launching neighborhood Health and Wellness center Dou Yoga in Brooklyn, NY September 2011

-Establishing the first Not For Profit yoga studio Hosh Yoga, offering classes by sliding scale donation in Brooklyn, NY Apr 2009

Hamid continues his studies beyond 500+ hours of dedicated yoga trainings of Greg Gumucio's YTTP 200 hr program and Alan Finger's 300 hr ISHTA program. He has studied well over 400 hours participating in workshops and seminars with his mentor Mona Anand as well as renowned teachers like Judith Lasater, Peter Ferko, Wendy Newton, Gina Menza and Anodea Judith.

​Currently in 2013-2014 he embarked on taking his yoga teachings worldwide, launching a Teacher Training intensive in Tulum, Mexico and building foundation for the first yoga studio in Baku, Azerbaijan through his Hosh Yoga lineage. At the present time he is managing The Landmark Health Club in Baku, Azerbaijan.
